Orange Walnut Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup fresh-squeezed orange juice (1-2 oranges)
- 2/3 cup sugar
- Zest from oranges
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 2 teaspoons agar agar
- ¼ cup coarsely chopped pecans
Instructions
- In saucepan, combine water, orange juice, sugar, and zest. Heat on medium until sugar is dissolved.
- Add cranberries, and cook until all cranberries pop.
- Add agar agar and cook until thickened, approximately 1-2 minutes
- Stir in pecans.
- Cool and refrigerate before serving.
