As some of you know, I’ve had to travel back to the Land of Jersey due to a family emergency. Well, the emergency has turned into a semi-long term stay so I can help my parents. Once our ducks are in a row, we’ll ALL be coming back to the land of sunshine! That’s right, my parents will be joining me.

This journey has been, an adventure, I guess you could say. I’ve effeminately learned how gross hospital food really is even though that was not the point of the journey. It has however left me missing home and missing all of you, and my cooking demos.

I just wanted to let you know I’ll be back to my regular blogging and class schedule as soon as I can. Until then, I’ll be re-sharing some old blog posts and just passing some info along as opposed to adding new recipes and restaurant reviews.

So please be patient with me and the situation Mom, Dad and I have found ourselves in – exposure to too much hospital food.
